Day 18, to River Camp (Mongolian Rave Camp)  129km , 1518km to date,  929m up, 985m end

It was an entertaining night last night, we were camped right on the edge of the town, so whilst trying to get to sleep, there were kids playing outside my tent, young folks riding through on horseback and cows munching what could have been 4 feet away from my attempting to sleep head.  And then the dogs!  Barking and howling all over town, all night!  The camp has been officially referred to as the “dog pound” camp.  Twas not one of the better night sleeps, in fact minimal sleep.

Good thing today was relatively easy - 60 km of slow climbing, then 67km of descent.

Riding today, I was hearing Cookoo (sp?) birds for the first time since two years ago in China.
