Sept 1, Manali India
Just arrived in Manali after 6 very hard riding days all at high elevation (13,000 to 17,600 ft). Yes, still EFI! Very remote (only access for 3-4 months of the year). Amazing countryside.
I'm feely really beat up, but great. We are down enough in elevation that our trip Dr. has given permission to have a beer (hence the typo's in this note).
We have a hard earned rest day in Manali, but the Wifi is painfully slow. I'll get a new SIM card for my phone tomorrow (today is Sunday, can't buy today). The SIM card I got in Leh is only good in Ladakh, but it was only $4. Lot's of material to post, so hopefully will be able to tomorrow.
