Day 124 to Maku Border Hotel, Iran, 151km, 10,254 to date, 1768m up,  1213m end. 

A long and hard day, but I enjoyed it.  Out last full day in Iran.  I am seriously going to miss this country, I have added it to my list of countries that I want to find a reason to go back to.

We did a 10km side trip to the Saint Thaddeus Monastery (Qara Kelisa), a partially restored ancient Armenian Monastery, the initial church was built in AD 68, but destroyed by earthquake in 1319, then extensively rebuilt.
